The Magnetic Transfer Adapter is used with the magnetic caster/camber gauge to fit directly on the wheel hub, when the magnetic caster/camber gauge will not fit directly on the hub otherwise.

The Magnetic Transfer Adapter fits over the wheel nut directly on the hub, and transfers the magnetism of the magnetic caster/camber gauge, holding it securely in place for accurate measurements and adjustments. 

The adapter is reversible for outside diameters of either 2-1/4" and 2-5/8".  It is especially designed for front-wheel drive cars, and fits 85% of cars and light trucks.

The wheel hub is the only machined surface on the wheel and therefore the only place to locate the gauge to give 100% accuracy to measure caster, camber, and axis inclination.
