1. To get correct level for steering wheel, sit in the driver’s seat and move the steering wheel lightly back and forth until it is centered. Then install steering wheel level on steering wheel with bubble at top. Insert spring-loaded side with knob into steering wheel. Push to side, and install other knob in steering wheel. Make sure you have good contact with spoke and face of wheel. Press down on knobs with fingers to be sure.
2. Use Steering Wheel Holder to lock steering wheel in level position for toe check or adjustment. Leave steering wheel level in place for the entire alignment procedure if desired.
3. Remove steering wheel level from steering wheel after alignment and before driving vehicle.
4. For a larger diameter steering wheel move the adjustment knob out to the end hole on the bar by unscrewing stud with knob from aluminum bar and threading it all the way into the hold at the end of the bar. Be careful not to cross thread the screw.
